NEW YORK: Roku has added the Oznoz Video Channel for kids to its offering, featuring cartoons in more than ten languages.
Available to customers in North America, the channel is home to educational titles for children ages 0 to 14 in languages such as Chinese, Spanish, German, Arabic, Persian and Japanese. Shows include Sesame Street, Super Why!, 1001 Nights, Babar and Mixed Nutz, among others. Oznoz will be accessible to more than 10 million homes in the U.S. with Roku devices. The channel is also available on iOS and Android apps, and on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick.
Aly Jetha, co-founder and CEO of Oznoz, said: “Streaming devices are such an important element of today’s TV-watching experience and we’re proud to partner with Roku to reach millions of users throughout the U.S. and Canada.”
Shabnam Rezaei, the co-founder and president of Oznoz, added: “It’s very important for us that families can enjoy our content wherever they are, on all their devices. Parents can download our shows on their phones and tablets and play them to kids in the car or at a doctor’s office, even offline. That’s something many streaming services like Netflix or Hulu do not offer. Being present on Roku exposes our excellent content to a larger number of families.”
